Last week, NYSBA wrapped up its annual awards luncheons and sales training sessions. We started in Buffalo and preceded to cover Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, and Albany. Stations across the state were recognized for Excellence in Broadcasting and outstanding community service work. We were also joined by various public service organizations who worked with their local stations on Serving New York campaigns.
This year, we had the most Excellence in Broadcasting entries ever. Stations from around the state fiercely competed against each other, and the winners were honored with our newly redesigned trophy. Serving New York award winners received our iconic crystal bowl.
We reached over 600 people statewide this month, with roughly 500 attendees for luncheons and 130 for sales training sessions. Thank you to everyone who attended our events last week, and congratulations to all of the award winners around New York State.
