Throughout the year, the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau issues random EEO compliance audits to stations across the country. According to the enforcement bureau:
“The Enforcement Bureau issued the second of its Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) audit letters for 2024 to randomly selected radio and television stations. In accordance with section 73.2080(f)(4) of the Commission’s EEO rules,1 the Enforcement Bureau annually audits the EEO programs of randomly selected broadcast licensees. Each year, approximately five percent of all radio and television stations are selected for EEO audits.”
A quick review of the list indicates that there are no New York stations in this batch of audits.
