Job Overview: The Digital Sales Manager leads the station’s Digital revenue generation, attainment of goals, sales team coaching and
development. The Digital Sales Manager is a member of WHEC-TV’s sales management team and participates in the market’s sales strategy,
budget planning, training, AE coaching and has a high level of client interaction. This manager is focused on business results and customer
success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees WHEC-TV Digital Sales operations.
  • Act as primary negotiator for the station on all digital business; review key sales proposals in advance to ensure client goals are achieved in
    a manner consistent with station guidelines.
  • Oversight in Digital Traffic and Digital Reporting.
  • Gather new media technology and content information and research to provide the station with a competitive advantage.
  • Consults with HBI AdOps Team and other Hubbard Broadcasting Digital Sales Managers.
  • Responsible for Revenue generation to achieve established monthly, quarterly and annual digital budgets.
  • Leads the staff in digital sales, setting team roles, goals, and managing workflow process. Hosts regular meetings on active campaigns, and
    oversight of campaign pacing and results.
  • Works with all Account Executives on 1:1 coaching, sales development, revenue goals, sales targets, client interaction and campaign
    strategy.
  • Presents all new Digital products and development to WHEC-TV management and sales team.
  • Participates in sales management team meetings, planning, and all market activities.
  • Engaged and active with sales activity including identifying target accounts, business categories, new business development, sales calls,
    client presentations, and translating project performance into client success stories.
  • Responsible for managing digital expenses and campaign budgets to achieve profitability goals.
  • Maintains regular, reliable attendance.
  • Completes other duties as requested and needed.

Qualification:

  • Media Sales and Sales Leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of digital products and digital marketing with a keen understanding of and experience with building holistic digital strategies that
    create measurable business results for clients.
  • Understanding of Marketing and Strategy for a customized solutions-based sales approach.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership and goal attainment.
  • Ability to coach the sales team individually and lead group training.
  • Skilled communicator to present internally to sales team and to clients one on one or in a group setting.
  • Ability to manage expense budgets and run at a profit.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving history as determined by the Company. Driving record will be checked.
