The Honorable Chris Collins spoke at the Buffalo Luncheon which took place at the Albright Knox Art Gallery. Congressman Collins cited numerous examples of broadcasters serving Buffalo. Congratulations to the Rochester Area radio and television stations for their outstanding public service efforts. We were delighted that New York State Senator Richard Funke was able to attend. Senator Funke is no stranger to NYSBA. Central New York stations were recognized recently for their public service efforts at the “Serving New York” Awards luncheon. We were delighted that the Deputy Majority Leader of the New York State Senate, John DeFrancisco was able to attend.  Senator DeFrancisco is one of the most powerful members of the New York Senate. He previously served as Chairman of the important Senate Finance Committee. He has been a good friend to broadcasters.
