Last Friday we had a packed house attending the first NYSBA Futures Committee Luncheon that we hosted in coordination with the Ad Club of New York. One of our goals has been to create new connections between local broadcasters and the advertising community. This includes agencies, brands and media planners. The luncheon included a panel discussing Local Media’s role in the future of advertising.

The panel provided unique insights into the world of advertising. Theresa Underwood did a fantastic job highlighting the perspective of local broadcasters. Frankly, this was one of the best media panels we have ever attended.

We hope to continue these events next year. It is a terrific way to learn from professionals in the advertising world and to share ideas. Moreover, the luncheon is a terrific networking opportunity for young professionals.
