Copyright Issues for Broadcasters Webinar Archived

Copyright issues for broadcasters have become increasingly complex and the potential liability for broadcasters has increased.  Copyright issues can involve the right to play music, both over-the-air and streaming.  This can involve clearing rights from several different music rights organizations including MBI, ASCAP, GMR SESAC and others.  Stations may also be held liable for using music in locally produced commercials without permission.  In addition to music, there are issues regarding the use of photos on your websites as well as the potential liability for user generated content.

Noted communications attorney David Oxenford recently hosted a tremendous webinar on copyright issues.  This webinar will serve as a “primer” and help you spot potential copyright issues that could help you avoid significant copyright liability.  This is a must see webinar.
