We have received 437 entries for our Excellence in Broadcasting Awards. This year’s awards will be very special due to the COVID pandemic. History will record that 2020 was one of the most significant years in the history of the United States, indeed the world. Throughout the year, local radio and television stations remained on the air providing life-saving information to their communities. These efforts continued despite the very real health risks faced by reporters and others working at broadcast stations every day.
It is an honor to represent those who worked in broadcasting during the pandemic. We look forward to celebrating their efforts when we host our Awards luncheons throughout the state this fall.
