Governor Sets 2020 Election Dates in New York

After some debate it appears the primary and general election dates for New York State are set.  The presidential primary, for both republican and democratic parties, will take place on April 28th.  This means the lowest unit rate period will begin on March 14, 2020 (45 days before the election.)

Primaries for all other federal, state and local offices will be held on June 23rd.  This means the lowest unit rate period will begin on May 9, 2020 (45 days before the election.)

The general election for the presidency as well as all other federal, state and local offices will take place on November 3, 2020.  This means that the lowest unit rate period will begin on September 4, 2020 (60 days before the election.)
