The FCC is sending out email Notices to stations that have not uploaded all the necessary materials into their online public file. If you received a Notice do not ignore it! If you have not yet received a Notice, double check to make sure your file is up to date.
THE ON-LINE PUBLIC FILE RULES APPLY TO ALL BROADCASTERS, EVEN THE SMALLEST RADIO STATION. The FCC is especially concerned that a number of radio stations have not yet uploaded materials into their public file. This is the second warning given by the FCC. Failing to act may result in fines or significant problems at renewal. If you have not uploaded all the necessary materials, do so immediately. You should also consult your FCC attorney.
We have prepared a memo outlining the legal issues for those who have not uploaded materials into your public file. You may find the memo by clicking HERE.
