Preliminary reports by station engineers from across the state indicate that the National EAS test was successful in New York State. We have no information on the success of the WEA (wireless) alerts. The broadcast portion of the test, however, appears to have been tremendously successful. We have received reports of only two minor issues.
We will be working with the FCC and FEMA to analyze the results. To date we have had no reported problems. If you had issues regarding the EAS test, please contact us.
