PEW Research – 45% of American Teens On-Line constantly

With 95% of teens having access to smart phones, 45 percent of American teens say they are online “almost constantly,” according to a new survey from Pew Research. That number has nearly doubled from the 2014-2015 study.

According to the research, Facebook is no longer dominant among teens. Approximately 51% of U.S. teens say they use Facebook. Not only is this number lower than in past years, it is much lower than other on line services such as You Tube, Instagram and Snapchat.
