We will be hosting our second annual regional luncheons honoring the public service efforts of local stations. Our “Serving New York Awards” recognize the extraordinary efforts of New York State’s broadcasters in serving the public interest every day.
Importantly, winners may include this award in their public file. In addition, we are asking stations to invite a local community group leader to the luncheon. Please be sure to include the name of the individual on the RSVP form below. The luncheon is FREE to NYSBA members in good standing.
Please provide a description of your public service project. You may also submit a description (click for a form below) separately by providing a one page description of your favorite public interest or public service project. You may submit a letter, press releases or send in stories that already appear on your web site. Just include your name and contact information and send them to David Donovan at ddonovan@nysbroadcasters.org no later than September 1, 2013. Do not submit audio or video files.
