As most of you know, FEMA will conduct the first nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) on November 9, 2011 at 2 PM Eastern. The test will last up to three minutes. This very important test will be watched closely by the FCC, FEMA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This test will replace the monthly test for November as well as the weekly test.
