Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program
The New York State Broadcasters Association offers the Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP), designed to help you insure that your technical facilities are operating within FCC rules and regulations. A successful ABIP Inspection by our contract engineer, Bud Williamson, will mean that the FCC Inspectors will not do their inspections at your stations for a three year period.
If you would like to schedule an inspection, please call Mary Anne Jacon (518-456-8888) in our office. Please be prepared to provide her with the information on all your stations and facilities to be inspected. An ABIP contract and invoice will then be sent to you.
Once the signed contract and payment are received in our office, we will notify Bud Williamson to contact you and schedule an appointment for the inspection.
