NYSBA Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting, & New This Year - NYS Community Engagement Awards

Every year the NYSBA conducts its Annual Awards Competition for Excellence in Broadcasting. This competition encourages professional performance and recognizes outstanding achievement among radio and television stations in our state, and all NYSBA member stations in the state are urged to submit entries.

The NYSBA's Annual Awards Competition for Excellence in Broadcasting Awards dinner will be held at the Sagamore Resort on Monday evening, June 18th in conjunction with the 50th Executive Conference. Entry forms are in the mail, PLEASE NOTE THE NEW ENTRY DEADLINE IS APRIL 9, 2012. Also new, all entries must have been broadcast between July 1, 2011 and April 1, 2012. New this year we will also honor both stations and community groups with a new award. The Community Engagement Award focuses on the partnership between local community groups and local stations. The winning Community groups will also receive a $1,000 donation from the NYSBA.
