“Serving New York” Award Luncheons – This award recognizes the extraordinary efforts of New York State’s broadcasters in serving the public interest every day. We are asking stations to bring a member from a local public interest group or civic organization that you have worked with throughout the year.
Stations should submit a one page description of its favorite public interest or public service project. You may submit a letter, press release or send in stories that already appear on your web site.
• A public interest project may be on-air as well as off-air.
• Public Interest project should have taken place during the September 1, 2013 and September 1, 2014 time period.
• Awards will be presented at our luncheons. Stations must be present to receive an award. These are regional lunches and will include stations from multiple markets. Please select the location most convenient for you.
• Please do not send audio or video files.
To be eligible for a “Serving New York Award,” stations should submit materials to the NYSBA 30 days in advance of the luncheon date.

Regional Digital Sales Training – Stephen Warley, who received rave reviews from last year’s attendees, will conduct a training session from 9am to 12 Noon. Training will be held at the locations listed below. These are regional meetings and stations should feel free to register for training at the most convenient venue, and are free for all NYSBA members in good standing.
