NY Congressional Delegation Writes to the FCC

NY Delegation Weighs In on FCC TV Spectrum Proceeding.

Twenty-two members of the New York congressional Delegation, including Senator Schumer and Senator Gillibrand, wrote a letter to the FCC, regarding repacking the TV band which will be part of any incentive auction plan.  The letter states that the band plan the FCC adopts for remaining television “must not adversely affect the ability of our constituents to continue receiving the free local programming they currently receive.”  The letter asks the FCC for a transparent process and lets the Commission know Congress is watching.
